Raise Your Inner Vibration!

Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor for the next 3 days, 2 -3 times p/ day, making sure your pigmentation does not dry and crack during healing, however not oversaturating the pigment. It needs to breathe to heal.

When your tattoo is finished, you Will need to know how to care for your tattoo, while it is healing. Keep in mind that these are industry suggestions that have been effective for generations, and this is not the advice from a Medical Doctor.

Before leaving the Studio, your tattoo was cleaned, A & D Ointment or Aquaphor was applied.

You will need to wash it 1 hour after leaving the studio, with a good FRAGRENCE-FREE ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP. (Soft Soap, Dial Soap, Castile Sensitive) DO NOT USE ANY TOWELS OR WASH CLOTHS.

AIR DRY OR PAT DRY WITH A CLEAN PAPER TOWEL

Apply a small thin layer of Aquaphor for 3 Days, 2-3 times p/day. Do not allow it to be overly saturated with the ointment. It is important to use a very thin layer, when using it. You do not want your tattoo to dry and crack. Always was your hands and remove old ointment, to apply new ointment when needed.

There are 2 Healing Stages with every Tattoo.

It takes 3-4 weeks for your tattoo to heal. During the first week to two weeks, you may form a scab. DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH. Between 1-2 Weeks, you may peel. DO NOT PEEL, SCRATCH OR PICK.

The second healing stage is when your tattoo in week 3-4 has an ashy look to it. Your Tattoo still has a dry layer, and will lightly peel. DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH OR PEEL. This is the time when you will want to use lotion, to help keep the tattoo hydrated, while it its healing. It is important not to overuse ointment or lotion. DO not submerge under water for long periods of time during the 2-4 weeks of healing. Avoid Hot Tubs, Ocean, Pools, Lakes, Sun tanning, etc., while healing. Just be mindful...

Once your tattoo is healed, Don't forget to ALWAYS US A HIGH SPF SUNBLOCK on your tattoo. We suggest SPF 15 during your healing. The sun will naturally fade your tattoo, so protect it from happening.

The process used to pigment the skin is not a one-step process.

Soft tints of color (Pigment) are tattooed into the skin one layer at a time over multiple visits, with a minimum of 5 weeks between each visit. These pigments must “shine up through” scars, thin skin, grafts and other irregularities. For this reason, re-pigmented and color re-correction often require multiple visits of up to a year, in order to stimulate natural skin tones. The exact color and tone desired, will not always be a perfect match. This is due to the fact that while natural skin tones vary when warn, tanned/ un-tanned, or whether your circulation is good or poor, injected pigments are permanent and do not change color. This is due to the fact that the pigment is placed under the skin and is affected by the ever-changing tones of the epidermis. This is what sets “Permanent Makeup” apart from regular topical cosmetics, which are placed on top of the skin and linearly cover the epidermis.

Since this is a tattooing process, it carries with it possible complications and consequences associated with this type of cosmetic procedure, including but not limited to: Infection, scarring, inconsistent color, spreading, fanning, fading of an allergic reaction to the pigment.

If you desire this procedure, it is imperative that you do not expose your re-pigmented skin unprotected to direct sunlight, use tanning booths, or any products which increase melanin production in the skin. This is particularly critical during the first 8 weeks following treatment.

If you are contemplating cosmetic surgery, laser peels, laser hair removal, Botox, collagen treatments, lip augmentation or implant surgery or other potential face altering procedure, please be advised that such procedures may adversely affect or alter your permanent makeup. It is your responsibility to check with your physician or other treating technician when contemplating these procedures. Some of these potential adverse changes may not be correctable, such as pigment changes and darkening, scarring or hyper-pigmentation.

Heather Kingsley/ Orgalla Designs is NOT responsible for changes which may occur to your tattooing as a result of any such treatments.
